The Medical Protection Society (MPS), the world’s leading organisation safeguarding medical, dental, and healthcare professionals, approached Hub to manage the technical delivery of their webinars and virtual events across multiple regions, including the UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, and Ireland. With a membership exceeding 300,000 worldwide, MPS provides invaluable medicolegal guidance to its members, aiding them through complex legal and ethical challenges. 

In September 2023, we undertook the responsibility of ensuring flawless execution for weekly online events spanning various time zones. These events included a diverse range of activities, from accreditations and consultancies to virtual workshops and webinars, showcasing our dedication to supporting MPS’s objectives with precision and expertise. 

Our Approach

Our approach to achieve extraordinary results involved several distinct steps: 

 

Set-up / schedule and speaker management 

Our initial focus was on setting up and managing schedules to accommodate multiple time zones, facilitating widespread participation and engagement. Additionally, we ensured that every speaker was fully prepared and equipped to deliver their content effectively. 

 

Technical management and ondemand edit 

Throughout the event, our team conducted pre-event technical tests for both audio and visual elements, aiming to identify and address any potential issues beforehand, and to reduce the risk of disruptions during the live sessions. During the events, we took charge of managing the live vision mix, to ensure a professional presentation, closely monitored the technical delivery throughout the events, and dealt with any issues that arose. Additionally, we provided on-demand editing to refine and enhance recorded content, ensuring its effectiveness and relevance post-live sessions. 

 

Communication and feedback 

Throughout the entire process, we prioritised open communication channels with MPS, conducting regular feedback sessions and reviews to ensure alignment with their objectives and preferences. We also provided attentive account management, catering to the specific needs and requirements of MPS to ensure a satisfactory experience for all involved. 

Results

It was a success – we received excellent feedback from MPS. We continue to work with them on a weekly basis supporting their bespoke webinar requirements and generating content featuring speakers located across the globe.
